Chamomile, Roman Essential Oil

A traditional favorite for it's calming influence, roman chamomile, anthemis nobilis, has an almost apple-like scent. It blends well with tangerine or neroli for an insomnia aid. When chamomile is steam distilled, bisabolol and chamazulene are produced - these two components combat irritation, so that chamomile is often used for sensitive skin and injuries.
